The prestigious student tournament brought together 130 futsal teams from various regions, including areas beyond Tangerang City, making it one of Indonesia’s largest interschool futsal competitions this year.

Head of the Tangerang City Youth and Sports Office (Dispora), Kaonang, stated that the championship reflects the city government’s strong commitment to nurturing young athletes and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle among students. The event has become a signature platform for young talents to compete and grow in a spirit of sportsmanship and unity.

This championship is more than just a tournament. It is a platform for young players to showcase their potential, learn discipline, and experience teamwork. What makes this year special is the growing participation from outside the city, including Tangerang Raya, Lebak, and Pandeglang, said Kaonang on Thursday (October 9, 2025), during his visit to Nambo Krida Arena, Periuk.

In the Elementary School (SD) category, home teams dominated the competition. SDN Karawaci 13 claimed first place, while SDN Poris Plawad 6 secured second. Meanwhile, matches in the Junior High School (SMP) category continued with high energy and fierce competition among the teams.

According to Kaonang, the Kadispora Cup is not only about competition but also about developing future futsal stars. The program serves as a stepping stone for young athletes to advance from local tournaments to national and even semi-professional levels.
